We Keep With the Following

Guidelines

UI Guidelines help us make User Interfaces usable for all users. So, we use:

  • Material Design Guide from Google
  • Ant Design React UI library
  • Human Interface Guidelines from Apple
  • Fluent Design System from Microsoft
Standards

Web sources with significant inaccessible UI components can be seen as discriminatory against persons with disabilities, violating the law. Standards we follow:

  • W3C Accessibility Standards
  • ISO 9241: Ergonomics of Human-System Interaction
  • ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications)
  • HFES 200 (Human Factors Engineering of Software User Interfaces)
  • ATAG (Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines)
  • Section 508 and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act)
Best Practices
  • User-centered design (UCD)
  • Design Thinking
  • Lean UX
  • Agile UX

Bitter Truth: Users prefer your site/app to work the same way as all the other sites they already know. Minimum cognitive load.

Tools We Work With

We have a lot of choices when need to decide which design tools our team will use. There are web-based tools, Mac tools, Windows tools, and so on.
